THE KLA SCHOOLS DAYCARE FRANCHISE PROCESS

Finding franchisees that have a strong passion for the field of Early Childhood Education while also meeting our franchise qualifications is very important to us.

If you are interested in becoming a KLA franchisee or finding out more information about the franchising process, please be sure to follow these steps:

1. Preliminary Contact and Franchise Application

The first thing any potential franchisee does to show interest in how to start a play school franchise with KLA is to make preliminary contact with us, either by clicking here or by contacting us directly at 305-614-4930.

We’ll schedule an initial phone or Skype conversation to provide you with more details about our opportunity and answer any questions you might have. This initial conversation is important because it allows us to get to know each other and to see if our values and goals align.

After this preliminary conversation, you’ll complete our KLA Franchise Application that we’ll share with our Board members for review and pre-approval. When considering your application, we’ll look at factors such as your location interest, total investment amount, and your experience, say on daycare franchises, other education field experience  among other consideration, to decide whether franchising with us is a good idea.

2. Business Development Call

After we receive your completed franchise application we will schedule a business development call where we will delve into your experience and qualifications for running a successful KLA Schools business.

It’s critical that we perform a thorough vetting to choose candidates we feel have the greatest potential to succeed as a KLA Schools franchisee. Of course, this is a two-way process and we want to answer all of your questions so you can feel comfortable that you’re making the right decision for your future.

3. Receiving and Reviewing the Franchise Disclosure Document

The Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) of any franchisor is an important document that outlines in detail who and what the franchise is and what the franchisor/franchisee relationship entails.

Our FDD is no different, and goes over important information, like what your initial and ongoing investment will be, and what our training and support of you looks like. FDDs are lengthy documents, which is why you’ll have two weeks to review ours, and why it’s recommended that you engage the help of a lawyer while doing so.

A thorough reading of our FDD will help you decide whether or not you’d like to become part of the KLA Schools family.

4. Validations Calls

As part of your due diligence you will want to talk to other KLA Schools franchisees. They will be able to share their unbiased opinion of what it’s like to be a KLA Schools franchisee – many will share their financial information to set realistic revenue expectations. They will also talk about the support provided and offer advice to help you in your journey.

This is an invaluable process and required for you to make an informed decision before investing in KLA Schools.

5. Taking Part in Discovery Day

After the validation process you’ll visit our Miami headquarters for a Discovery Day.

During this visit, you’ll be able to get a firsthand look at schools in the South Florida area, meet our KLA franchise team, and learn more about how to start a play school franchise with us.

6. Sign On

If after reading the discovery day, you decide you’d like to continue the process and start your career in education with us, you’ll sign our KLA Franchise Agreement — at which point, you will officially become a KLA Franchisee!

From there, our team members will get to work to find you the perfect school location and start the process of working toward developing your very own KLA Schools location!

Testimonials From Other KLA Schools

  • “WALKED AWAY TRULY INSPIRED”

Thank you so much for allowing me to visit four of your schools. They are just gorgeous and I walked away truly inspired. I cannot tell you how beautiful the schools are in words. The teachers were happy and engaged with the children. I am thankful I was able to sit in on a Professional Development training.

Sunna Clark, KLA Schools of Flower Mound

  • “HIGHLY RECOMMEND”

Once my family decided we wanted to be in the child care industry it was clear that we didn’t need to look further than the KLA Schools Franchise concept. Each of the KLA Schools we visited represented a unique atmosphere where children can explore and thrive. Roberto Ortega and his team gave us all the tools we needed to open and maintain our own KLA School in North Bay Village. Going into our second year the Franchise team continues to guide and support us with their expertise. Whether its marketing, day to day operations, or educationally related, they are always eager to assist with warmth. We highly recommend KLA Schools Franchise as the standard of Early Childhood Education.

Jean-Michel & Kenia Sada – KLA Schools of North Bay Village

  • “INNOVATIVE APPROACH”

We would recommend KLA Schools to any one that wants to come into the world of early childhood education with a very innovative, modern and dynamic approach.

Cristina Muci and Patricia Monaco – KLA Schools of Pembroke Pines

  • “BEAUTIFUL ORGANIZATION”

I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you for giving me the opportunity to work at KLA Schools. I really appreciate the time that your team dedicated to me, not only to learn about this approach but also to provide a space for professional and personal growth. Roberto and Candy I commend you for this beautiful organization and the people that you have enlisted to represent it.

I want to especially thank Gillian and Raquel for their daily support, not only for me but to our team and for making each encounter filled with knowledge, guidance, and mutual growth.

Pilar Delgado – KLA Schools of North Miami Beach

  • “MODERN, & DYNAMIC”

Since the first moment they support us as if they were building their own school, their positivism and enthusiasm helped us overcome any difficulties we encounter in our journey and their understanding of the business supported us during times when we had to adapt the business to be able to better serve our community.

Cristina Muci and Patricia Monaco – KLA School of Pembroke Pines

  • “Great Culture, Support and family atmosphere”

The culture of KLA stood out in a big way! The culture was FAMILY. Plain and simple. Now as the months and years begin to pass by things have not changed. I still feel part of a huge family whose focus is educating children and nurturing both the children and staff. The support that I receive from our franchise never stops. From biweekly calls with the Director of Operations to daily chats on What’s App, this is a place where you can never fall through the cracks and feel insignificant. Everybody knows your name. I love KLA! My home away from home.

Gina Johnston – KLA Schools of Coconut Creek

  • “THE BEST”

KLA is a company who respects and cares about their employees. I have been in the educational industry for over 28- years and this is by far one of the best companies to work for. They appreciate and encourage each employee to be successful by coaching them to think outside the box. They make sure their management team has the right tools to make this happen. Employees are not only given the opportunity to ask why, but are given the opportunity to ask why not? KLA supports their employees to go above and beyond expectations for self-gratitude which is always recognized.

Terrie Mazzarella – KLA Schools of Boynton Beach

  • “Flexible Organization”

KLA Schools is a flexible company not afraid to take risks, and yet straightforward enough to ask families for their opinions with surveys. This year the founder, Roberto Ortega, hired a marketing consultant to help rebuild our schools during the pandemic. We have been conducting our meetings through Zoom calls. Roberto is emphasizing that KLA will continue to stand strong focusing their attention on the companies’ goals and concentrate on ways to better self-improve its values.

Terrie Mazzarella – KLA Schools of Boynton Beach

  • “Forever Grateful”

I will forever be grateful to Roberto Ortega, the founder, the franchise owners and the KLA Pedagogical team for entrusting me with one of the first KLA’s to open in Palm Beach County. In closing I would like to say that KLA Schools cares about the children, employees and families and is the best educational environment for all.

Terrie Mazzarella – KLA Schools of Boynton Beach

  • “Professional people with great know-how”

Childcare business is very rewarding but can be challenging. It makes a huge difference when your program is built on concrete foundations, scientific methodology and when you are surrounded with professional people with great know-how. Since our opening in 2013, we have been receiving very valuable support from KLA corporate in terms of pedagogy, environment set up and staff trainings. The fact that corporate team is always ready to help out and accessible has been a great benefit for us. The continuously growing positive reputation of KLA brand has always helped us with enrollments while the corporate team’s huge investments on trainings has made it easier to minimize turn over and sustain happy and consistent teaching team at our school. We have created a successful business through which we reach our vision of serving families the best quality education and care.

  • “WE RESEARCHED MANY FRANCHISES BEFORE SELECTING KLA SCHOOLS”

We researched many childcare approaches and franchises before our chance meeting with KLA Schools. From the first meeting we knew that we found people who looked at early childhood education from a different perspective, not just as a business but as a family caring for other families. Roberto and Candy created amazing schools and a franchise, sharing their beliefs and the Reggio Emilia approach. As a franchisee, I am always supported both in the business end and the pedagogical aspect of the school, and I know there is always someone available when needed. We happily recommend joining the KLA Schools family.
