Why franchise in the Early Child Care Industry

Child care service is something that is always required in a community. Working families are in need of a good program that provides safe and reliable care for their children during the time that they cannot be with them. In 2011, 12.5 million children under the age of 5, were enrolled in child care. Today, the need of dual income is becoming a reality of our time, so that number is on the rise. Not everyone has family close by to help to care for their children, so that’s where the extended family atmosphere of a child care environment comes into play. It is estimated that children of working mothers spend at least 35 hours a week in child care, and families searching for these services are looking for the best place for their children to spend this time.

The Early Child Care Industry is also growing due to the short term and long term benefits of children participating in an early childhood educational setting. Early socialization and interactions with fellow peers along with the exposure to educational concepts and experiences has also been proven to have positive affects in a student’s development.

Several decades of research clearly demonstrate that high-quality, developmentally appropriate early childhood programs produce positive effects on children’s cognitive and social development. Not only can positive effects be seen at the child’s early preschool age, but also through their teen years. Children who attend high quality child care at a young age are known to score higher on future academic and cognitive achievements.

Today’s children are the future of tomorrow, so investing in this industry is an investment in our world/community. Parents are always looking to provide the best for their children and so bringing the concept of KLA to your community will help to provide them with that.

KLA originated back in 2008 when its first location was opened in Brickell, near Downtown Miami by Candy Arocena and her husband Roberto, along with a group of investors and educators. In the years to follow, they proceeded to open a total of four corporate owned schools all located in the South Florida area. With both the vision and the resources to generate a national, Reggio Emilia inspired childcare franchise, the founders created the KLA Schools Franchise Program in 2010. Since 2010, KLA and its founders have awarded more than 15 franchises nationwide.
